Andrew Ruef at CALUG

Our own Andrew Ruef will be speaking at the Columbia (MD) Area Linux Users Group (CALUG, http://www.calug.org/), on February 9th, on The Read-Copy-Update Synchronization Mechanism in the Linux Kernel. The presentation will begin with an introduction to the Linux kernel, and continue with an explanation of why optimized synchronization is important. The remainder of the presentation will cover the mechanics of RCU concluding with a discussion and Q&A.
