  • Michael Viscuso

    COO

    Michael manages day-to-day operations across the company. He has a seven year track record of successfully executing and managing complex technical operations for clients. Michael is highly regarded in the Computer Network Operations community, and was a key leader of a team of SMEs that built one of the fastest growing cyber security practices within the government sector. Michael graduated from Villanova University with B.S. degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science.

  • Michael Tanji

    CSO

    With over 20 years of experience in military, government and commercial security and intelligence, Michael has a long track record of successes conceiving, launching and managing innovative technical and operational programs.  A recognized thought leader on security and intelligence issues, he is a 2007 Claremont Institute Lincoln Fellow. Michael graduated from Hawaii Pacific University with a B.S. in Computer Science, and The George Washington University with a Masters Degree in Computer Forensics. He has held the CISSP credential since 1999.

  • Jason Garman

    CTO

    Jason has over a dozen years of experience in computer and network forensics, reverse engineering, and software development. He has spent the past five years solving some of  the most difficult computer security problems faced by U.S. Government agencies, and previously performed incident response, developed secure network architectures, and created innovative security solutions for Fortune 50 and other clients. Jason is the author of Kerberos: The Definitive Guide (O'Reilly and Associates). Jason graduated from the University of Maryland with a B.S. in Computer Science.

    An experienced and dynamic executive, Dan is widely recognized for his drive and ingenuity. He has a proven history of casting powerful, mission-oriented visions that attract exceptional, highly-motivated talent. Dan's ability to grow and lead highly effective teams placed him at the head of one of the fastest growing and highest margin cyber security business units supporting DOD and IC customers. A former Special Agent with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Dan graduated from the Virginia Military Institute with a B.S. in Computer Science.

    Edgar Sevilla

    Principal Engineer

    A seasoned technologist, Edgar has over 15 years experience in software development, reverse engineering, computer forensics, and information security. He has spent the past 7 years using his expertise to attack some of the most challenging IT issues for the U.S. government. Previously he was responsible for the development of technology that was used to protect and secure proprietary information for a number of corporations. Edgar graduated from Old Dominion University with a B.S. in Computer Engineering.

  • Benjamin Johnson

    Senior Software Engineer

    Ben has extensive experience building complex systems for environments where speed and reliability are paramount. His background also includes a lot of technical "agility," having worked on advanced operational teams supporting U.S. defense missions and writing complex calculation engines for the financial sector. Ben has degrees in Computer Science from the University of Chicago and Johns Hopkins University. He is a 35th Generation Shaolin Kung Fu Disciple.

    Jason McFarland

    Software Engineer

    Jason's work focuses on reverse engineering, vulnerability research, and specialized software development. His background includes demonstrated expertise in Windows internals and kernel development in support of U.S. cyber security missions. Jason is a graduate of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

    Andrew Ruef

    Security Engineer

    Andrew focuses on operating system security, software security, and the study and analysis of code. He has a background in operating system programming, Windows file system filters and drivers, and general Linux kernel hacking. Lately, he's been using dynamic tools like valgrind and pin, and static tools like BinNavi and LLVM, to understand and reason about properties of code. He enjoys a good WinDbg session and feels more at home looking at code in IDA than source code.

    Jesse Kornblum

    Computer Forensics Research Guru

    Jesse's research focuses on computer forensics and computer security. He has helped pioneer the field of memory analysis and authored a number of computer forensics tools including the md5deep suite of hashing programs and a system for fuzzy hashing similar files. A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Mr. Kornblum previously served as a computer crime investigator for the Air Force and with the Department of Justice.
